300 days of sunshine
Family Multi Activity Courses
Summer & Winter Family Multi Activity Courses
We are based in the Ecrins Massif, France’s largest National Park, offering the widest range of mountain and water sports anywhere in the European Alps.
With 300 days of sunshine we are able to offer family courses all year round, whether its simply the right information so you can go off and do your own thing or a fully guided week trying lots of different activities.
In Winter choose from skiing, snowboarding, ice climbing, snowshoeing, and ruisseling.
And in Summer try white water rafting, rock climbing, hiking, paragliding, mountain biking, Via Ferrata, high level forest assault courses, kayaking and even kite surfing!
It's all right on your doorstep, and having lived here with our family since 2003, we know all the best places to go and the activities to enjoy!
We are right on the edge of Provence and the climate is more Mediterranean than alpine. Daily temperatures in the sun are almost always conducive to active outdoor action; in February you can try downhill skiing in the morning and snowshoeing in the afternoon, and in October you can often be wearing just shorts and a T-shirt whilst mountain biking or abseiling. In Summer you could try some amazing water sports like canyoning, or white water rafting!
Send us a quick note about what you would like to do, what time of year and the age and interests of your family. And we will send you some basic ideas and prices to get the ball rolling.
Use our Contact form and we will get right back to you.

Our guides and instructors
We always work with the best and most highly qualified instructors the Hautes Alpes has to offer. For our mountain activities we use fully qualified IFMGA Mountain Guides. The IFMGA (International Federation of Mountain Guide Associations) qualification is the highest level in the mountaineering world. The qualification is enforced as a strict legal requirement in all European alpine countries, and in addition many organizations now select only this qualification for their leaders when guiding internationally. Safety is always the most important consideration, but in addition to being very safety conscious our guides and instructors are great fun to spend a day with and we know you will come back at the end of the day with a big grin and an even bigger appetite!

Course Programmes
Courses usually run Sunday to Friday and the accommodation is available for you Saturday to Saturday (arrival and departure days).

The maximum guided ratio for a given activity is variable and ranges from an instructor just for your family to sharing instructors where it is cost effective to do so. As always you dictate what you want and we organize accordingly.

Once you have registered you will be sent a full equipment list but where possible you will need to supply your own clothing, boots and rucksack. But remember, you can hire anything you need to once here.
